What do you know about private label rights content?

Is it something you’ve considered for your content marketing?

What is is?

Why would you want to use it?

What’s creating the demand for PLR?

This blog post will answer these questions and more…read on.

More and more people are looking for a home based businesses.

PLR Content

Company issued websites just aren’t enough  for building a successful business online. You need your own branded website or blog.

A blog creates  a platform for building your brand. This is  where  customers and leads can find you.  A blog is a central element in attraction marketing. You can use your blog for value based content such as tutorials, company reviews , motivational content and any information related to your niche market. It gives you a home on the internet to grow your brand by sharing value packed  unique blog posts.

Unique content creation can be a big problem and some new comers may be enticed to use PLR articles to fill the pages of their blog.

What is PLR?

PLR is intellectual property that the seller gives you a license to use. It can include articles, e-books and other digital content. The “license” is defined by the seller. It is usually inexpensive and many copies are sold to many people. The content can be bought as individual articles or it can be bought in bundles.

I must confess that I fell into this trap very early with my blog.

I was told to blog everyday! That’s a lot of content!

I was a newbie, I freaked . I had no idea how to produce this much content.  “The Guru”  said I had to do  this  in order to be successful so I set out  to find a way.

I stumbled onto private label rights content and I felt like I had found a life saver. At the time I did not know the effect it would have on my blog. I didn’t know using a PLR article with no rewrites could be damaging.  It wasn’t long before I noticed the same article on another blog and then another. I was embarrassed. I knew then I had made a  mistake!

Then…..  The Google Slap , first Panda followed by Penguin…ouch!   That is  one of the reasons I’m writing this today…don’t fall prey to duplicate content! I still see duplicate content on the web and I still hear some of the leaders telling their group to just copy their blog posts! You see PLR content is a form of copying someone else’s content..I’m here to say don’t’ do it.

Truth is, there is no easy button …..really!

Unfortunately this is a trap many bloggers fall into.

There is a way you can take advantage of PLR content that I’d like to share with you today.

PLR: Advantages

1.   Springboard for Ideas:

You can get some great ideas from reading PLR articles for you niche but as stated above never use the unedited PLR for your blog posts.

There are some high quality PLR articles out there but you still don’t want to use them without rewriting them. You can use these as a basis for unique articles written by you.

2. Time management:

Many people begin their business while still full engaged in a career .  They don’t have much time to  to do the research for  unique blog posts. That’s were high quality PLR  can help because most of the research is already done. This can save you time.

PLR Disadvantages:

1. Duplicate Content

PLR content has been sold  to many other people . The search engines will not find much value in your content and Google will penalize you for duplication of content.

What you could do instead would be to purchase unique content from a good writer. This is a much better option if you don’t have the time or talent for writing your own content.

2. Rewriting is a must:

Your new article must be at least 30% unique.  Your article needs to pass through copyscape filters. Keep in mind the rewriting process  can take as long as writing a unique article. Which brings me to the next point.

3.  Missed Opportunity To Develop You Own Style

Another disadvantage to PLR is  that you are only going to develop your style  of writing by learning and practicing your craft. Even if you’re not a  talented writer  now, so what! You have a unique voice and only you can express it. Start practicing your writing and it will improve over time.

Conclusion:

The true key to attraction marketing is your unique voice. No one is like “You”.  Take the time to develop your skills and learn your craft, you will find your audience.

How about you, what is your opinion of PLR? Is is a good idea or not? Have you ever used it and how did you use it?

I’d love to hear what you have to say about this subject!

7 Tips For Success With Video Marketing

Internet users are into speed. This is made possible with  faster internet connections, smart phones, I Pads and other gadgets. Attention spans are getting shorter. We want our information and we want it now!

Video Marketing

Video Marketing

There is a vast ocean of information on the internet. Your audience is looking for quicker ways to consume it.

You Tube is now the #3 search engine in the world. That tells you that millions of people are looking for Marketing Videos for Website  information and entertainment via video.  Mobile marketing is growing rapidly. Video works well with smart phones and I Pads.

2013  has been dubbed the year of the  Web Video Advertising  by some top internet marketing gurus. Don’t you think it’s a great time to jump in and get your share of the audience?

There may be some reasons you haven’t used video marketing.

1. You don’t know where to begin.

2. You don’t want to be in front of the camera.

3. You think you need expensive equipment.

This blog post will help you learn more about what you need to do to be successful with Viral Video Marketing .. I’ve listed 7 tips  on how to get started doing video marketing , some  things to avoid and some helpful tips.

Free Marketing Videos  is one of the best ways we have as internet marketers to connect and  quickly build rapport with our target audience. It also has an advantage for getting  your content in front of the people who are looking for it.

Video Marketing Tips!

FREE VIDEO TRAINING
Tip #1 Get Some Training:

A little training will take you a long way. You don’t need to know everything there is to know about free online video advertising .  You need to plan your video including a script or outline.  There are some things that work really well in a video to get your message across.

You will need to know how to do on-page  optimization of  your video content and how to pick a great key word with low competition.I have provided some additional free training for you. CLICK HERE

Tip #2 Face You Fear:

You might be scared at first to start your video marketing but I think you will find that after a little practice and maybe as few as 10 videos later you will begin to relax. That’s when it gets to be really fun to produce videos.

I have seen some amazing transformations by other timid internet marketers. Their first videos have no eye contact and they are barely audible. After a few videos they bloom in front of the camera! The transformation is truly amazing.  When you begin to relax in your videos it translates into being authentic. Authenticity is a great way to attract people to you and start building rapport.

You will also find that it will definitely increase your lead flow.  You are providing entertainment and information that your audience is looking for. If you provide good content in your video marketing services on a consistent basis you will build your following.

The best antidote for your fear is to face it head on. Here it is a year later and now I’m really comfortable in front of the camera. I would never have guessed it was possible. That’s why I know you can do this too, so get started.

Tip #3 You Don’t Need Expensive Equipment:

You don’t need a bunch of fancy gear to get started. Some people simply use their smart phone or the camera on their computer.
I started doing my video marketing with a flip camera that cost less than $100. I recently did some research and found a very cheap way to do my lighting and my sound. I also use a free editing program that came with my PC computer for my video marketing company.
There are many ways to get started so believe me when I tell you don’t have to break the bank.

You Tube is free so it doesn’t cost anything to post videos there and you can post as many as you like. You can also put links on your channel back to your blog, Facebook, Twitter, Google +. In fact Google + has a tab for your You Tube Channel.  Did I mention that Google owns You Tube.

Tip #4 Get Started:

Ok so now you have some training, you’ve faced your fear and you can use your smart phone or your computer to produce videos. The next thing to do is get started. The sooner you start the better. You will still be ahead of the curve since You Tube is now building steam so there’s plenty of opportunities to find your target market and build your fan base. The fact that all of this ties back into Google+ is another huge benefit. Google is still King and it’s good to utilize these social platforms Google is developing.

Tip #5  Have Fun!

You might even surprise yourself at how bold you become in your videos. If you do enough videos you will break out of your shell! You just have to take that first step and face your fear of the camera.

Another benefit is the ability to break down barriers with your target market. Nothing does this better than a video. It’s  fun to have someone opt into your sales funnel after watching your video. Call them!  The reaction I get is awesome. They are so shocked that I called them especially since they just watched my video. Your conversion rates will go up with this type of interaction.

Tips #6 Enjoy your celebrity:
It may come as a surprise to you that others actually are looking for the valuable content you will be sharing in your marketing videos.
You can build a great fan base this way and as I said earlier it makes attraction marketing even easier when your target audience can see you and hear your voice.
Then when you call your leads they surprised that you the person they just watched on You Tube actually took the time to call and connect with them.
This makes video marketing such fun! You are viewed as a celebrity because you are in a video!
Tip #7 The very best tip:

SEO Search Engine Optimization = Higher Rankings

Content with video has a 50% better chance for ranking. This alone is a great reason to start making videos. Your content will be ranked higher and found faster by your target marketi and this in turn will increase your business. You’ll also enjoy a higher rate for conversions.

You can even put video in the subject line of your email and this alone can increase open rates for your email broadcasts.

Some autoresponders won’t allow videos to be sent directly so here’s what you do instead. Take a snapshot of your video and put the link in the image so when someone clicks on it they will be taken to your video.

You can be successful!

You have a unique voice.  You will find your audience.

You will connect with just the right people and you will have a great time doing it. Take the first step.

I hope these tips were helpful and I hope they inspired you to take a leap of faith and try something new if you haven’t already done this.
Are you doing video?  If not , what’s holding you back?

Is it fear of the camera? Or is it that you think you need fancy equipment before you can start? Share your thoughts and experiences here.

Does Video Marketing Make Sense For Your Business?

Google is taking the plunge and becoming more “Social” evidence of this is Google Plus  “G+” and  also You Tube which Google owns.

There are some impressive advantages for using video marketing and especially You Tube Marketing.

  1.  Video marketing breaks down certain barriers between you and your audience. People who watch your videos feel like they know you and if they also like what they see they will be back for more.
  2.  Connections are easily made and there is a greater potential to build your list and sell your products.
  3. You don’t have to have fancy equipment and you don’t even have to appear on the screen.

If you’re ready to take your business to the next level  you should begin to learn what video marketing can do for your online business.

You can  effectively promote your products and services, provide relevant information to your viewers, and increase the size of your list. With everything to learn about video marketing, now is the time to begin.

I started video marketing after going through several video courses and have begun to get leads flowing into my sales funnel which is helping me build my list. I do recommend learning more about video marketing because there are many things you need to know in order to get ranked within You Tube and also on Google.

Read this piece to find out more.

Here are some things you can accomplish with Video Marketing:

1.Let Your Audience Get To Know You through videos.

Add something of yourself to your videos. When speaking, try adding personal stories. Share your expert knowledge. Allow your audience to get to know you better. As opposed to overdoing it, feed them information across multiple videos you will be creating.

2. Build Your Audience

Your customers will view a video if they are interested and they think it is important. Know your audience and find relevant key words with low competition to insure your video is seen by these customers. Key word research is just as important here as for article marketing.

3. Frequently Asked Questions Answered

If your customers keep asking the same questions over and over again, make an FAQ video to address them. Though a Frequently Asked Questions section is a common website feature, it doesn’t hurt to make videos as well. This will give them an option for how they want to receive the information they are looking for. You can also send these FAQs to your email list for a value packed broadcast.

Keep this in mind as you make your videos: Video marketing has to compete with the extremely short attention span of the potential customer. The first 15 seconds of your special video clip are the most important. During this time, try to grab and hold their attention with a tantalizing teaser or an unexpected perspective. You want them to watch until the very end.  Make sure your audience knows you have something of value to offer them upfront and then don’t forget to give the CTA call to action at the end of your video.

You can also measure the effectiveness of your videos. You Tube has some great statistics so keep an eye on your videos to see if they are connecting with people. You should not assume how valuable the video will be to your customers just by guessing. However, looking at statistics will give you a more accurate picture of how your video is being received. Review the number of viewers for each video, how many viewed the entire thing, and other relevant figures. This is easy through You Tube Marketing.

Hopefully you are ready to begin planning your video marketing techniques. Advertising this way can really lead to increased profits and a larger customer base. Start now by putting together your very first video!

In the weeks to come I hope to be sharing some of the things I’m learning in my video marketing so stay tuned.

How about you, are you using video in you marketing? What do you think about it? Have you seen results?

Let’s discuss it.

Warning! Blogging Can Expand Your Mind!

Blogging can be mind expanding

Blogging can expand your mind! Are you in?

The blogging world is a kalidescope of intellectual, factual ,entertaining and sometimes downright funny subject matter.

A blog is a great asset for your business and is as varied and unique as the individual who writes it.

If you are interested in learning internet marketing then I suggest you take a look at blogging. A blog is an integral part of the internet marketing process, but beware it’s not going to be  easy especially at the beginning.

There are so many things you have to learn and it’s hard work as any blogger will tell you.

I started blogging about a year and a half ago. I had no clue but knew it would be a great asset for my business, my own little piece of real estate online. I paid someone to set  up  my word press site so I could start blogging.

I can say I’ve experienced many feelings towards blogging since then including:

Stress, fatigue, happiness, excitement, mind expansion, success, failure, gratitude and wonder all rolled up into one BIG  experience.

I’ve had to learn a lot of varied techie things about my computer and being online. Things I never knew before…some were little secrets I’ve uncovered with the help of my online blogging buddies.

Who knew your computer could be so versatile. It really is a wonderful tool and can make your life a lot easier or make it hell-ish but never fear if you stick with it you will improve. The trick is to find the programs and software for your purpose and then learn how to use them.  This can be daunting for someone who does not come from a computer related background, but where there’s a will there’s a way. Stick with it!

I’ve learned some of these things the hard way by plucking along  getting frustrated until I became cross eyed at which point I:

A. Pulled my hair out and screamed or

B Miraculously hit on a solution

Many of the things I’ve learned have come from other online marketers and bloggers who have more experience and logged in time than me. I read many blogs during the week and by reading other blogs  you can learn so much from these wonderful  giving experienced people….thank you bloggers for  teaching me and making my life easier. It’s an education in itself to read all of these great blogs.

Below, I’d like to introduce you to some of these amazing bloggers who I really appreciate and feel fortunate to have stumbled upon.

He is a fantastic teacher and has some awesome digital training products. The one that’s helped me the most  so far is his Bloggers Roadmap. It takes you step by step through the process of setting up a blog from scratch. It’s not expensive for the enormous amount of information contained there.

It outlines the whole process of setting up a blog and includes a description of all the plug ins you need to have a professional looking and running blog. So check it out on his website.

How to write a great Headline              how to write a great headling

In my last blog post I outlined the H-PITA Formula for creating highly convertible content. I had  lots of comments on this subject and especially related to the H  as you know  stands for headline.

The Headline is one of “The Most” important elements of your blog post.

I would like to share some of the  comments  I received.

Sue Neal  writeclever.com

“I usually spend quite a while trying to get my headline right and write this first-I use it as the focus of the article.”

Dan Sumner  dansumner.com

” I personally think the headline says a lot especially when you tweet it or email to your readers. An interesting headline gets way more opens!”

Bonnie Gean   bonniegean .com

“Interestingly enough I sometimes create the headline AFTER the rest has been written. It works better for me that way.”

BG Jenkins   bgjenkins.net

” I agree that the headline needs to be something enticing to get that click. I appreciate the comments from your visitors to add to the info.”

Ginny Carter   marketingtwentyone.co.uk

“I think what people often forget is that a headline should offer or imply some benefit to the reader- entice them into thinking what’s in it for me”.

Although I chose only a few comments to share I do appreciate all of the comments.

It was interesting to see that everyone agrees on the importance of the headline. It was also interesting to read that some of you use the headline for the content creation and some of you create the content and then think about the headline. I am of the latter persuasion. I tend to create the content first and then the headline.

So here’s the BIG CHALLENGE.

We are competing for attention on the internet. If we get enough attention then we also get traffic.  Without traffic we are wasting our valuable time and we will not be getting content into the hands of the audience we are trying to reach.

You can create dynamic content and even rank on the first page of Google but if your Headline doesn’t stir curiosity or emotion and entice your reader to click then what’s the point? Our ultimate goal is to get the click…agree?

I certainly have struggled with this problem as I’m sure many of you have.

When I started blogging I was clueless about everything related to blogging. I just jumped in feet first. I was told I needed a blog to promote my business and I  definitely agreed. It is an essential part of  marketing online.

I think initially I had some pretty boring headlines and even pretty boring blog posts. Of course I still struggle with this issue. One thing you don’t want to be online is BORING!  It’s worth the time and effort to discover some things that may help you become less boring.  The process is  all about learning your craft and developing the skills you need for success.

One of the awesome resources I ran across recently was a report written by Jon Morrow , he is an assistant editor over at  Copy Blogger and has several of his own blogs . Jon Morrow has an amazing life story you can read about   here. He is a  an online coach and all around great copywriter.

The name of the report is  52 Headline Hacks   A “Cheat Sheet” for Writing Blog Posts That Go Viral.  I have downloaded a lot of information about writing great headlines but this is by far the best i’ve found. It’s now the only source I use to help me create my headlines.

Jon Morrow tells a story of an English professor  he once had who said this” The best writers are the best thieves,” he goes on to explain that most of the enticing headlines you see today are really more than 50 years old. They are merely changed and modernized for “Today’s Market” but the basic format is the same.

Here are a few categories that you can expect to find in the report.

There are threat headlines: What keeps your readers up at night?

1. How Safe is Your [Blank]

2. The Shocking Truth About [blank]

Zen Headlines

1. Can’t keep up? 11 Ways to Simplify

2. How to take charge of your [unruly problem]

Mistake Headlines- Irresistible Teasers From the Masters

1. [blank] Mistakes that make you [look/sound] like a [blank]

2. 11 [blank] mistakes you don’t know you’re making

These are only a few of the selection and he recommends that you use one a week since there are 52 headlines you can chose one every week for the whole year. I hope you take the time to look at this report I think it’s great!

This is a quick way to increase attention to your blog posts and after all that is our main challenge online. We as bloggers want and need our share of attention!

I’d love to hear some examples of eye popping headlines you may have run across. Feel free to share them here.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post about how to write a better headline and I would like to hear more about your processes for writing clickable and enticing headlines.

How To Write A Great Blog Post | 5 Key Elements

How To Write A Great Blog Post

how to write a great blog post

Image courtesy of Stuart Miles at FreeDigitalPhotos.net

If you’re like me you  will understand how difficult it is to come up with great content for your blog. In fact sometimes it seems impossible but with a little persistence and know how it doesn’t have to be that way.

In this blog post I would like to share  some information I came across while I was watching a tutorial for software I use in my video marketing. Finding information about blog content while studying video marketing may sound strange but even with video marketing you still need an article to explain what’s in your video. The content also needs to be optimized for the search engines. We as marketers cannot get away from the fact that we need great written content.

I’m always looking for really good information on how to improve my blog and create better blog posts so this was an exciting find.

You might also like to read this recent  post entitled: “The Perfect Blog Post” .

Here are the 5 Key Elements for how to write a great blog post  and it’s easy to remember.

The H-PITA Formula.

H stands for Headline

How to write a great blog post  always begins when you create a compelling headline.

Your goal is to make it compelling enough so that people will click it.

Even if you’re on the first page of  Google ,if your headline doesn’t entice readers then no one’s going to click to read your great content.

I  once  heard that there really are no new headline and that the best writers are the best thieves. I’m not calling anyone here a thief and  I’m also  not saying to blatantly steal simply to watch what’s working and take note! Every headline has already been used. Most headlines were in use 50 years ago and we still use the format today. The best we can do is to follow them  and personalize the headline to make it our own.

I use a notebook where I gather healine how tos and I’ve collected all kinds of headlines. I go to this notebook for inspiration and direction.

Here are some of the headline categories I use: I also included some of the examples from recent blog posts.

Threat Headlines:        How Safe Is Your Twinkie

How To Headlines:      How To Drive Traffic To Your Website/ Using Key Word Research

List Headlines:             MLM Forums 5 Things To Know Before Joining

Mistake Headlines:    7 ( Blank) Mistakes That Make Everyone Look Stupid ( don’t have one of these yet…note to self)

P stands for Problem

You can build rapport with your reader by stating the problem. When someone goes to Google or one of the other search engines and types in a key word , they are usually looking for specific information and or  a solution to a problem. When they find your content  it lets the person know that you understand their struggle and it builds rapport. They have found you  and your great content is a solution to their problem.

I stands for Irritate:

Use examples and  illustrations to bring the problem to  life.  Tell a story about how you struggled with  the problem and how it affected you or your business.

Just like in this blog post I told you  a story about how I struggle with this  problem of how to write a great blog post and I also shared that I think I found some great information to help solve this problem.

T stands for Take Away

At this point you want to give value but you don’t want to give away the whole enchilada.

Give  your reader some helpful tips and  some insider information but don’t give away all your knowledge on the subject. Your reader should get useful value from your content but they should also have a reason to come back for more.

A stands for Call to Action:

Ask for the sale. The number one reason people don’t get the sell is they don’t ask for it. If you are interested in selling your reader some helpful product or maybe you just want them to follow you on Twitter or Face Book you can’t assume that they will know what to do next. You must be clear and ask them to click the link! Many bloggers forget to do this and they really miss out on building their list or making the sale.

I hope this blog post was helpful for you today and I would really like to know about your process for coming  up with  ideas for blog posts and especially if you have a format or system you use to create your content. Please share your comments below and if you’re not on my Facebook Fan Page click the link below.  ( :

Network Marketing On The Internet

Have you ever asked yourself this question: Do I have to be a guru to do network marketing on the internet?

novice and expert

Free Digital Photos

The answer my friend is a definite no. We all start somewhere and most of us start at the novice level. This blog post will outline a way you can develop the skills necessary to take your business to the next level.

If you want to become  successful  with network marketing on the internet you can use the same  formula that I use. I will outline the details down below but first there are some steps you need to take before you begin your journey into network marketing on the internet.

  • Stop being so emotional about your business…begin to look at it as a BUSINESS! Study and understand the business plan.
  • Make the transition from somebody who is selling xyz to somebody who is building a business.

Never fear there is a way you can become successful promoting your network marketing on the internet .

This is the same system I use  and  I will explain the different levels everyone goes through before they are guru status for network marketing on the internet.

If I can do this then I know you can too.

#1   Novice: Academy Level

This is the “take you by the hand level”  the beginning of your journey into network marketing on the internet.

Everything is done for you. Your copy is written, your sales funnel is ready for you to use. The email follow up campaign is ready to go. You literally don’t have to do anything except start using the readymade  customizable system.

By using the system you begin to get leads, you call them up. You find out by asking questions what they are looking for and what they are struggling with in their business. You offer a solution because the number one problem in network marketing is a lack of leads.

At the Novice Level you learn to generate 50 to 100 leads.

The more you focus the faster you will move through these levels.

#2 List Builder: Gold Level

You pick a marketing strategy and perfect it…. your mantra is focus ,focus ,focus!

Focus and lots of it is one of the keys to success with network marketing on the internet.

You also learn how to set up a custom lead capture page. This is a critical stage to your business.

You generate your first 100 leads then you focus on setting up you own  auto responder and copywriting some broadcast emails to your email list. The initial emails are already set up for you but are totally customizable.  You’re learning how to build your own list. The system offers much at this level including 100% profit from educational  digital products already created by other successful marketers.

Joint ventures…now that you have a “Big List”  where you can team up with other marketers to help them sell their products by sending out email broadcast to your list.  “The money is in the list?” and it’s true.  Network marketing on the internet makes all of this possible.

MLM Tips | Overcoming the first obstacles to your success

man breaking through the wall

Free digital images.com

was written for the  person who has a desire to start their own multi level marketing or home based business and needs  more information on the subject of what is required initially to nurture success.
Most people do not in reality know what it takes.  You start with your due dilligence  before you begin but even if you’re sure or your opportunity you need to learn more. Do not permit the revenue potential to cloud your thinking. There are several main hurdles you will come across when you first start. These challenges aren’t beyond your capabilities but the more you know ahead of time the better you may be prepared.

MLM is absolutely not a get rich quick scheme but it is an opportunity to create wealth at a very fast pace. The key is to navigate the obstacles you are guaranteed to run into. If you are able to persevere long enough you’ll bring in a abundant harvest

MLM Tips: Transition from employee to business owner.

I can for myself be a witness that it really is hard making this transition and even if you plan on keeping your day job until you start making more money  inside multilevel marketing you need to start to alter your mindset for success with your multilevel marketing business. As a worker you have a certain schedule or regimen you follow:It may resemble this, you show up at a particular time, put in the required number of hours, complete the tasks scheduled for the day and you draw your earnings check.

Unless you’re inside management you are not asked how you need things to be run in addition  you aren’t advised or else privy to any details about modifications coming down the line. As soon as changes are made you have to accept them like it or not. You are not paid to make decisions. You’re a member of staff plain and simple. The positive to this is you do not have the pressures of running the business. Another person takes the responsibility.

On the other hand as a home based business owner your motto has to be “The buck stops here.”You influence the whole thing that happens. In reality if you don’t take action zilch happens. For a few this can be a terrifying state of affairs but for others it can be absolute bliss.

When I first started my home based multi level marketing business subsequent to many years inside the work place. I confess I started out being  confused. I did not have the routine that for me was comfortable. I definitely felt like a fish out of water.

Simultaneously I recognized I was destined for a lot more than being a worker bee in a very large bee hive.I had to discover my method as well as decide what were the chief things I needed to complete daily in an effort to nurture my business.

Here are some mlm tips I’d like to share that I’ve learned in the last year and a half :

  •  Choose what needs to be accomplished on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.

  •  Make a list for the day with the most important things planned at the top. This can direct you through your day. You might not always get all accomplished on your list but at least you realize which road to travel.

  •  On the internet do not go down rabbit holes or chase the shiny objects ,the internet it is stuffed with distractions. Try to resist the temptation to stray off course.

  • Stay focused! Refer back to the statement above. Don’t chase shiny objects! Easier said than done of course but if you possess a list of things that “Must” get done it is really a little easier.

  •  Physical exercise because your business depends upon you being fit and exercise can be an importan element to good quality health.

  • Eat for energy and drink lots of water

  • Dress for success even when you’re making phone calls. No they can’t see you but you will come across more professional…trust me on this.  It makes a difference

  • Smile

  • Read or listen to something motivational or inspirational every day for at least 30 min to an hour. Fill your thoughts with positive energy. Belive you can have the success you desire and visualize living the success

MLM Tips for Success: Don’t take Rejection personally:

Big problem here but understand that hearing no is a part of this industry. You may hear countless more No’s than Yes. Get familiar with it. It’s a fact of life as a business owner. I wrote another blog post here regarding using No for a advantage. click here: MLM tips taking no for an answer and liking it.

MM Tips: Understand what  MLM really is:

Build sincere relationships, and hear what peopele are saying. Stop with the sells pitches, they never work.  Instill support on a daily basis, to everyone on your team as part of your multi level marketing business. You have to listen and stop focusing on yourself, It’s about the other person.
Grow personally because the reality is this, “You” are the product. You have heard it before if you provide to enough people what they desire then  you will get what you desire. Be a servant and assist others in achieving their dreams.

MLM Tips: Tell The Truth

Your new prospects need to know that in order to put together a successful mlm business it will take lots of work, determination and commitment.
They need to recognize they might acquire 1 yes for every 10 no’s and the attrition rate is awfully high inside this business some say as much as 90%
The first year is in truth a learning experience but if they stick with it say 2 to 4 years they can make more money than they ever imagined. MLM has created more millionaires that any other industry.
If you tell people the truth you will keep more reps in the long term. You will  have more people stay in your business by telling them it is usually  hard rather than telling them it’s too easy.

Now it’s your turn. What is your experience with starting your home based business? What mlm tips or other tips can you share with us?

The definition of forums in ancient Rome  could be described as a market place or public square . It would be the center of judicial and business affairs and a place of assemble for the people. It could also be described as a meeting place for the discussion of questions of public interest.

The definition is not unlike the MLM forums on the internet today.

It is a gathering place and it definitely is a place for discussion, answering questions and getting information.

This blog post will help you understand how you can use mlm forums as a free lead source.

Forums are often an overlooked area. Some of the benefits include:

  • You are in the company of “Like Minded” people sharing ideas and thoughts about ways to build  business.
  • There are usually lots of newbies in the forums looking for answers to things they are struggling with.
  • You can be building  backlinks to your blog when you place the link  in your signature.

There are many mlm forums on the internet related to the home based business and network marketing. MLM forums are an excellent place to not only learn about techniques to grow your business but also begin building relationships. You can visit a few of these a day to begin the process.

Most of the people on these mlm forums will be promoting something so it is helpful if you can offer some form of generic marketing information which can pull in some clicks and opt ins and it also brands you as a professional marketer. You are building a reputation by showing your professionalism.

You want to have a great signature file you can use on your mlm forums profile such as: Don’t leave money on the table. Learn what to offer people who say No to your business. http://www you link.

Here are dos and don’ts for marketing on forums:

1. Please don’t SPAM. If you see someone posting a link in their comments it’s probably a new marketer. Set the example: keep your links in your signature only.

2. You main goal should be to always be positive ,lead by example and offer value based comments and  training.

3. If you don’t know anything about a subject being discussed then do your homework and research for the answer then go back and share what you learn.

4. Make sure you ask questions to encourage interaction with the forum members.

5. A great idea would be to have a lead capture page in place with email follow ups ready to send. You will be building  your list with the opt ins.

It is important to interact with the forum members by posting updates and answering questions the more you connect the more opportunity you have for leaving your links on many different topics.

Drive traffic to your website using keyword rich content was written for the newbie who is considering using content marketing or for the more experienced marketer who may not be getting the traffic they expected from their efforts.

I use Google’s free key word tool to find ideas for keywords and phrases.  I also use Market Samurai to look at the competition strength and backlinks. Understanding keyword research is crucial for how you drive traffic to your website.

Content marketing can be described as giving your prospects the valuable content they are looking for to help them grow their business. When you consistently give  value you will attract prospects to you.

There are many ways to drive traffic to your website.

Key words play a vital role in attracting your prospects and also help to drive traffic to your website.

If you miss this piece of the puzzle you might as well be whistling Dixie in the wind. No one will see or hear you. Here’s a video tutorial I made for you showing you my search for the perfect key word phrase. It was not an easy search but I finally found a phrase that had a good number of potential clicks with an acceptable level of competition.

I admit as a newbie one year ago I didn’t have a clue about how to drive traffic to my website and I was very intimidated by the tools for key word research. I struggled for  the last year with key word research and felt like I would never learn how to do online marketing. I felt  alone and I was struggling because I did not understand how to do this. It was a big problem for me.

I finally asked for help. I set up a coaching session with another online marketer I met in a master mind team.  He asked me if I knew how to drive traffic to my website and my answer was No!

After my one hour coaching session the light bulb went on! I finally had some understanding of the process for key word research which will help me attract more traffic.

Moral of the story if you are struggling don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for help.

Back to the subject of how to do online marketing!

Your goals in key word research are these:

  • Drive traffic to your website
  • understand what your prospects are looking for
  • understand the role of keywords and why they are so important
  • attract your market
  • learn the words and phrases your market uses

The more you know about your target audience the better you can meet their needs, produce the content they are looking for and drive traffic to your website.

What you don’t want to do is guess at random words and hope for the best.

To begin this process, put yourself in your prospects place. What are they looking for? Ask the questions they would ask. Do a survey on Face book to find some of these questions. Talk to people you network with. Then brainstorm a list of words and phrases, study the list and eliminate those words and phrases that are not relevant.

I found this great website  during my research on how to drive traffic to your website.

The way you drive traffic to your website is a process of study and implementing what you know. There are many ways to drive traffic to your website, key word research is just part of the story.

When you learn something new and them implement what you learn the next step is to share this with your audience. Becoming a teacher is part of becoming a leader.

Sharing and teaching helps you the marketer understand the information better and also commits you to the process.

What I learned in the last year is this, keyword research is not a simple thing. There are several areas you must understand and look at when deciding which word or phrase to use.  There are some great tools you can learn how to use to make your key word research much easier. Don’t take a risk by not doing your keyword research, it is a vital part of ranking on Google.

The internet is a vast ocean and we as marketers need to learn how to navigate so we can be found.
