Google is taking the plunge and becoming more “Social” evidence of this is Google Plus  “G+” and  also You Tube which Google owns.

There are some impressive advantages for using video marketing and especially You Tube Marketing.

  1.  Video marketing breaks down certain barriers between you and your audience. People who watch your videos feel like they know you and if they also like what they see they will be back for more.
  2.  Connections are easily made and there is a greater potential to build your list and sell your products.
  3. You don’t have to have fancy equipment and you don’t even have to appear on the screen.

If you’re ready to take your business to the next level  you should begin to learn what video marketing can do for your online business.

You can  effectively promote your products and services, provide relevant information to your viewers, and increase the size of your list. With everything to learn about video marketing, now is the time to begin.

I started video marketing after going through several video courses and have begun to get leads flowing into my sales funnel which is helping me build my list. I do recommend learning more about video marketing because there are many things you need to know in order to get ranked within You Tube and also on Google.

Here are some things you can accomplish with Video Marketing:

1.Let Your Audience Get To Know You through videos.

Add something of yourself to your videos. When speaking, try adding personal stories. Share your expert knowledge. Allow your audience to get to know you better. As opposed to overdoing it, feed them information across multiple videos you will be creating.

2. Build Your Audience

Your customers will view a video if they are interested and they think it is important. Know your audience and find relevant key words with low competition to insure your video is seen by these customers. Key word research is just as important here as for article marketing.

3. Frequently Asked Questions Answered

If your customers keep asking the same questions over and over again, make an FAQ video to address them. Though a Frequently Asked Questions section is a common website feature, it doesn’t hurt to make videos as well. This will give them an option for how they want to receive the information they are looking for. You can also send these FAQs to your email list for a value packed broadcast.

Keep this in mind as you make your videos: Video marketing has to compete with the extremely short attention span of the potential customer. The first 15 seconds of your special video clip are the most important. During this time, try to grab and hold their attention with a tantalizing teaser or an unexpected perspective. You want them to watch until the very end.  Make sure your audience knows you have something of value to offer them upfront and then don’t forget to give the CTA call to action at the end of your video.

You can also measure the effectiveness of your videos. You Tube has some great statistics so keep an eye on your videos to see if they are connecting with people. You should not assume how valuable the video will be to your customers just by guessing. However, looking at statistics will give you a more accurate picture of how your video is being received. Review the number of viewers for each video, how many viewed the entire thing, and other relevant figures. This is easy through You Tube Marketing.
