Leadership Mindset: Do You Have It?

What's your Mindset?

We’ve all heard the term Mindset. You may say yes but what is mindset? The dictionary describes it as a fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person's responses to and interpretations of situations, an inclination or a habit.

We all have habits from childhood that are fears and limiting beliefs. Some of these can be on a cellular level. There are two root fears, limiting beliefs in your mindset you have to deal with. They are:1) I’m not good enough and2) I’m not good enough to be loved. It boils down to self doubt and a lack of confidence.

Network marketing is all about leadership mindset, building a team of distributors a down line and an organization leading people. As soon as you sign up your first person you become a leader and they are looking for you to help them duplicate your results. You must step into your leadership role; learn how to have a leadership mindset. You do this by developing yourself the more confidence you have and the more successful you can become.

Don’t make the mistake that network marketing is only about marketing, especially online it’s not.

Come back to the real business of network marketing, it’s about leadership. Work on yourself, your mindset. Invest a small part of your income on yourself and watch the amazing results.

You actually have to spend more time working on yourself than on selling a product. Ask yourself am I worthy of earning a 6 figure income. You must believe this first. You are worthy, you are good enough. You can do it.

Think about yourself as a leader. Get used to this idea. What can you do to develop yourself as a leader? Don’t let self doubt hold you back.

You will feel a responsibility to help the people you bring into your business. You will have to face this responsibility. Challenge yourself set and set a bench mark.

You must come to terms with limiting beliefs and overcome them. Especially if you still have a day job. There is tremendous negativity there in the workplace. You are surrounded by this toxic environment every day. There are ways to neutralize some of the negativity at your job. Listening to CDs ,positive mindset webinars and reading uplifting positive/motivational books can help you develop a better mindset and prep you for success.

Be aware the words you say can affect your mindset but more importantly the thoughts you have, limiting, self hating thoughts are huge in blocking your success.

Stop criticizing yourself and talking down to yourself. Start paying attention to what you say and what other people say around you. Your words can actually create your reality. Decide that you are going to create an amazing year and really believe it.

Goal Setting: creating a winning mindset:

The year before you is a blank canvas you must schedule your success.

Write down your goals. What is your wildest desire? Write a check now for the amount of money you will earn. What would you want to do with this money? Help your family, help others, give to the needy? Be happy and enjoy the process. Find out what really makes you happy. Be crystal clear about your goals and what you want, what you’ll do to get it and what you’ll do with it when you get it. Be very specific because the universe will deliver what you order.

Focus on your business, don't be distracted by other offers, pick a horse a ride it. It really doesn’t matter what your product is. It matters that you are focused. There are way too many distractions out there to take you away from your goals.

Think about your vision what are the feelings you want to create in your life…think about your perfect day. What would that be like? It’s the feelings that will drive you. Develop this mindset that you can have the life of your dreams.

Have a specific time line. Time lines are a very important part of goal setting. The universe will give you what you ask for so be specific. Break your goals into smaller attainable parts.

Let all the negative stuff go…you can let it go because you created it.

You can have everything you desire in this life. Get in touch with yourself; don’t let self doubt stop you. You are in charge of your life. It’s up to you to develop the Leader within and a winning mindset.
